We understand that life happens so all our gardens come with a three year warranty where should your garden need some T.L.C. it will get personal care within a week of contact.

Our Story

Let Me Introduce Myself

My name is Jonathon Shannon. I have always loved working with my hands. I love the satisfaction of a job well done and to push myself to see what I can make. I started woodworking about eight years ago when I got a job building decks, pergolas, and fences. I learned so much in those early years and I kept all my fingers so I'd say I was pretty successful. The skills I learned there kept coming in handy as I grew. I got so much joy every time I got to create something, like when my wife Coryn needed new shelves for our first home. Then when the season came she asked me for a raised garden bed, so I started doing research and found a very open market. I couldn't find a single one that matched what she wanted so I told her I'd build her one. Boy was she surprised when that got checked off the "honey do list". Soon after that we had friends who wanted one that would fit their space. I saw my opportunity to do what I love to do while still providing for my family. So I started Rocket City Gardens to help people who feel overwhelmed by gardening to get started and be comfortable doing so.
